Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Both being present in person is believed to facilitate a more therapeutic process; however, online sessions can be offered for both couples to be present at a time that is convenient for you through our easy scheduling platform.
Addiction can be seen as the relationship between a person and the substance or behaviour. Replacing other things in our lives that we used to previously believe were important to us. With time, this substance or behaviour increases, and despite the negative consequences the relationship with the substance or behaviour continues.
As we start to build our lives around what is important to us again, opportunities for change and recovery are possible.
Horses have long been teaching us about ourselves. They have a special gift that cannot always be seen by the therapeutic eye and is truly validated in a magical experience through their natural instincts.
These instincts can bring awareness, growth and when the person is ready, change.
In your experiences you can better understand your emotional awareness, understand your style of communication in social situations, impulse control, rebuild confidence, offer a chance for trust and empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Whether you approach a horse ready to learn about yourself or not, they will teach you. A powerful moment that can only be experienced.
