The cost of the sessions are the same price as the in-person office therapy. With the exception of the session prorated for 60 minutes rather than the typical 50 minute session.


It depends on the goals of the persons and the experience. Five sessions are usually recommended for individual and family sessions. For company leadership building, company team building, or mental health group programing - 1.5 hours are recommended per groups based on number of attendees. 


With any type of animal assisted treatment, there are some risks that vary based on the animal - and with that the setting will always have a trained person on site and for support and safety reasons. Each horse is also chosen specifically for their ability to work in these types of settings. 


Sometimes it is recommended to see a therapist for some in-office sessions before you attend an Equine session; however it is not necessary. Talk to your therapist about what will work best for you.
